if you are an Area VII Adult Rider member! ContactWendy Wergeles:
Respected USEA Judge and TD at Area VII Spokane
Sport Horse!!! Ride with your Official!
Wendy is one of my
favorite eventing coaches from California (or anywhere
else). She is coming back to Washington State and you can ride with
her!! Wendy is the Official TD at Spokane Sport Horse and she is
able and willing to offer an open clinic the weekend before this
year's competition. Take advantage of this opportunity to tune up
for your 2017 competition season on the Dry Side- with great footing
at Tulipsprings.
Wendy was "quietly" at Tulipspings last May teaching a few local
Kennewick riders, and one of them credits Wendy's insight and
teaching with redirecting her from giving up on her horse to winning
the A7 Annual Award for Beginnner Novice!(Congratulations
Christine!)
Wendy's style is calm and encouraging, giving much credit to the
horse and confidence to the rider. Her understanding comes from her
personal competition experience and studying to be a great teacher
too.
Wendy has competed in US and Canada through the Advanced Level in
Eventing, winning regional championships at that level. She is a
certified USEA ICP Level III Instructor and has had several students
qualify and compete in the North American Continental Young Rider's
Championship and coached the Area X team. Wendy is a USEF "r"
Eventing judge and has been a USEF "R" Technical Delegate for more
than twenty years and is now an "S" Technical Delegate.
Wendy's clinic is open to all ages and all levels. So come over
to the Dry Side for fun and learning!
